From a young age design has been a passion of Adams. Growing up in rural Virginia, he looked forward to visits to Washington, DC with his father. The Classical Greek and Roman architecture along the National Mall, surrounded by the Mid-Century Modern office buildings inspired him and led to his future in design.
After graduating from The Art Institute in 2008, Adam moved to Washington, DC and began his dream of working in the design field. Adam understands that great designs begin with a comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs and expectations. His design approach is focused on creating spaces that improve his clients day-to-day living through polished spaces that are functional, approachable and beautiful while reflecting the client’s personality and lifestyle.
Over the past 15 years, Adam has worked on residential and commercial projects ranging from whole home remodeling to discrete interior renovations throughout the DC Metropolitan area. He particularly thrives on challenges of space planning for city living and wants to make sure each client feels empowered and comfortable throughout the design process. Skilled at creating beautiful designs under a variety of budgets, styles, timeframes, and requirements, Adam guides clients through every phase of the design process.
Adam and his husband Bryan enjoy traveling, hiking, and relaxing at the beach. When at home in the city, you can find them enjoying some of Washington, DC’s many offerings from farmer markets to wineries with their dog Jessica.
