Our Story
Blue Star was founded by Eric Goetz on the principles of innovative problem solving, quality craftsmanship, professional, transparent communication and exceptional customer service. All while delivering unique designs that satisfy your vision for your home and enable you to live better.
Growing up in a home with two Architects, Eric developed a passion for design and a keen focus on the details. And starting as a young apprentice framing homes and running electrical wires at the age of four, he gained first hands on experience building homes with his father in Puerto Rico and then Denver and Washington DC.
Coupling his early experience with design, construction and his degrees from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Eric envisioned a company that delivered superior design and quality construction that improved the quality of life for clients.

The craftsmen used were excellent. We were impressed with their work and attitude and ability to creatively work around issues. The addition seamlessly integrates into the rest of the house and it’s hard to believe that the new spaces haven’t always existed as part of the original home.
Blue Star came in on budget and ahead of a very, very tight and critical schedule. We highly recommend them to anyone considering a renovation.
