The pictures say it all. Our team revitalized and remade this cramped 1960s rambler into a stunning, light-filled home with a mid-century modern vibe. Design focused on opening up the house, increasing space and function while creating an indoor/outdoor living experience. Colors, fixtures and materials were selected as much for durability as aesthetics. An engineered stucco and custom metal canopy transformed the exterior, and the center square door bring the facade firmly into the 21st century.

We are blown away by the transformation from where we started to where we are today and still amazed that we fit it all in!
The Blue Star team made the stressful process of a home improvement project very easy, affordable and professional. The results are amazing and we are enjoying our home more than ever!
Eric and Christal have a good sense of what makes a comfortable home. They were able to merge tasteful design aesthetics with functional spaces in order to modernize a 1950’s tract house into a custom residence.
I was very pleased with my experience with Blue Star. The reason for the top 5-star rating is three fold- the quality of the work, the prices they obtained for materials and the design elements. I did a large renovation (kitchen, 3 bathrooms, HVAC, plus knocked down some walls) which took about 4 months.
Eric and his team turned the house next door to mine on Capitol Hill into a jewel box. I was impressed with his outreach to neighbors and his attention to detail. He cares about his work and it shows.
Blue Star excelled at design and layout, craftsmanship and finish, response to feedback, figuring out creative solutions to inherent space challenges.
